Total Heliski’s clients are naturally going to benefit immensely from a new innovation in snow safety. (Aligned with our focus on technology and innovation at our Summit last month.)
Total Heliski CEO, Hayley had the pleasure (or was it pain?) of attending the world’s largest trade show in January in Las Vegas – The Consumer Electronics Show. If last year was the year of the wearable sensor, this year was certainly the year of the Drone. And not just any old fly up and around Drone. No, these days, you can be your own Warren Miller movie star and order your own drone to follow you by radio bracelet and film your every stellar powder turn, from different angles. The Hexo was the best drone we found there.
The heli ski world has just gotten bigger, and what a jewel the latest addition is. When most think about Greece, they think beaches and lots of sun, but what most do not realize is that Greece is a very mountainous country, it gets a lot of snow in the winter, and now, we’re bringing you the chance to heli ski it!
Bode, Torah, Chemmy, Jones, Mayer, Mancuso, Jansrud, Maze, and then there's Shaun! It's been an Olympics of epic proportions. With challenging snow conditions, new events, social media driven Olympics, podium upsets and cultural surprises from Russia, this has been an exciting and eventful Olympics indeed.
Total Heliski are excited to announce our Alaska Technology Heliski Tour for 2014. This year, we are going to continue the tradition we started in 2012 of connecting powder loving technology entrepreneurs and enthusiasts whilst doing their favourite sport. Uplift and away to Valdez, Alaska, the home of extreme heli skiing for a week of epic Valdez Heli Skiing from April 13-19.
Heli ski season is in full swing. We have news from most of our operators that most of their 2014 seats are filled, and first clients face shots and dreams have been fulfilled. However, if you haven’t booked your trip yet (particularly for Alaska or Sweden), don’t despair, we can get you set up quickly.
Record-breaking Everest mountaineer, and Total Heliski with Legends’ Programme Legend Kenton Cool has posted a new first by summiting the Ultimate Three Peaks. Kenton and his climbing companion and friend Sherpa Dorje Gylgen successfully climbed Lhotse, Nuptse and Everest the final mountain in the Everest horseshoe surrounding the Western Cwm.
Not only did Kenton break his record of completing his 11th Everest Summit, but the two men have created the record of being the first to achieve the feat of summiting Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse in one trip.
