  • Typically they are able to fly 80 percent of the season. On days when weather prohibits safe flying, they offer down-day activities in Thompson Pass and out of Valdez: ski touring, ice climbing, snowmobiling, sea kayaking, and halibut and salmon fishing.

SUMMARY ITINERARY : You arrive at Tsaina Lodge on a Saturday afternoon. You will be welcomed with an orientation with drinks and appetizers. The following day is the start of your epic heli skiing along some of the steepest terrain in North America. You and your guides have more than 550 ski runs in 23 regions to choose from, providing a full spectrum of challenging runs in the Chugach’s legendary powder. You travel back to Valdez the next Saturday filled with awesome skiing memories!
PRICE FROM : $4,629
ACCESS POINT : Fly into Anchorage International Airport, serviced by daily flights from several major U.S. cities. Take a 35 minute shuttle flight (available from Era Alaska) to get to Valdez. The Saturday flight departs Anchorage at 5:05 PM and arrives in Valdez around 5:50 PM. A company representative will meet you here for transport to the Tsaina Lodge.
PRE/POST SKIING : You could add on some resort skiing at Alyeska, the best resort outside of Anchorage which is an hour flight away from Valdez.

DEPOSIT : A 50% deposit is required upon booking to secure your slot.
FULL PAYMENT : The balance is due 90 days prior to the start date. If full payment isn't received by this date, the reservation will be forfeited and no deposit will be refunded.
REFUNDS : Any changes or cancellations will be charged a $250 cancellation/change fee. Deposits are 90 percent refundable for cancellations made 180 days prior to the start of the ski week, minus the $250 cancellation/change fee. If cancellation is made within 180 days of your arrival, all deposit paid are nonrefundable. If cancellation is made within 90 days of your arrival, all monies paid are nonrefundable.
