Why Heliski Here:

  • Alaska’s Western Chugach Mountains wrap around some of the best helicopter skiing and boarding terrain in the world. The 3,000 to 4,000-foot vertical runs are found on hundreds of peaks, providing guests with more powder than they can ride in one trip.
  • The only heli ski operator skiing and snowboarding in a permit area covering over 700,000 acres of mountainous terrain with gentle bowls, giant mountain faces, massive glaciers and sheltered tree skiing (the tree skiing is in the snowcat terrain mostly).
  • This operation is very suitable for many first time and experienced Alaska heli skiers. With a base at luxurious Hotel Alyeska at the base of Alyeska ski resort, a proximity by road to Anchorage, and with one of the most comfortable heli ski accommodations in AK, it has many advantages for clients with non-heli ski partners.
