The World’s First Heliski Show!
Was held on October 26, in the exclusive, Hotel Verta, the brand new 5* Riverside Hotel with stunning views overlooking the buzz of the London Heliport.
Attendees of the Show were able to meet with experts and view the world’s best heliski and catski experiences first hand amidst an entertaining and informative evening of fun, and networking.

Despite it’s reputation, heli skiing is NOT just for experts, in fact, it’s enjoyed predominantly by regular, competent skiers and boarders. Total Heliski set out to show regular powder skier and boarders how they could have the best winter holiday of their life in our world of heliski and catski adventures.

Powder enthusiasts who had never tried heli skiing, were welcomed at this years Show to learn about what heliskiers have known for years- the incredible memories that await you from doing the ULTIMATE powder experience. They were taken above and beyond the resort boundaries, on a virtual tour of incredible heli skiing and cat skiing experiences around the world, and shown options for various budgets and ability levels.
Experienced heli skiers seeking new frontiers
Equally, experienced heliskiers and boarders gained from obtaining the insider advice direct from experts they met at The Show. They discovered premier, boutique (often lesser known) locations in British Columbia and beyond, as well as the new frontiers like Greenland and Chile who flew in especially for the event. Not to mention great deals on heli skiing and equipment from Show partners.
Meet the Experts and Winter Sport Legends
Guests at this years show met some of the world’s premier heli and catski operators and saw their amazing footage. They viewed inspirational presentations from two Legends of skiing and ice climbing – Olympian Graham Bell and extreme adventurer, Tim Emmett. USA Pro Skier Kent Kreitler also shared his experiences of heli skiing in Alaska because he’s done it all! He was joined by the equally esteemed Dan Egan. Both of these guys are leading trips for Total Heliski under our Heliski with Legends Programme this season. Guests were also able to mingle with Total Heliski Legends Chemmy Alcott and Kenton Cool.

Total Heliski and the operators were joined by experts from the UK’s leading Mountain Sports Retailer, Ellis Brigham who operate 7 stores in central London (including St Paul’s which just opened in October). They were on hand at The Show to provide advice and show new equipment from brands like Black Diamond, Arc`teryx, Salomon and The North Face (whose reps were also on hand).
Share Powder Day Stories
The evening started with a drinks and canapés reception set against the backdrop of London’s buzzing heliport, with beautiful views of the River Thames. It was also a chance to meet and share powder stories with like minded enthusiasts.
Charity Raffle for Snow Camp
The London Total Heliski Show was proud to support the youth charity, Snow Camp the UK’s only charity using snow sports and life-skills to work with inner-city young people. Show attendees helped provide these experiences by their purchase of raffle tickets and entry into the draw for generous prizes donated by Show sponsors including Salomon, Arcteryx, and Black Diamond.
