Just a note to thank you (Total Heliski) for the greatest ski trip ever!! Skiing untracked powder all day, every day with a helicopter as your transportation mode is truly unequaled. In all my years, there is still no other activity that puts as big a smile on my face as this….I would urge all skiers who have the means to do so-not to pass up the opportunity of a lifetime. I am an experienced, aggressive skier who can enjoy the steeps and deeps and also slow down and enjoy some gradual slopes. I booked a 7 day tour to Alaska with 100,000 vertical feet guarantee for a week in March, since my son was on college break. We had snow cat backup for the days when the weather didn’t allow the machines to fly. Apart from wanting to ski earlier on days the skies are clear for flying, the trip was outstanding. 5 out of a possible 5 stars, can’t wait for our next trip with Total Heliski this year to Canada.

We went for a late season weekend to Courmayeur, in order to explore the terrain for an eventual mid winter trip, and of course to enjoy the spring snow and sun.We had planned to do one day of heliski and one day of resort skiing, and the weather cooeperated well so we could do the heliski part on Saturday.

The landscape was absolutely phenomenal. The local operator as well as the mountain guide were very professional.The booking procedure thru total heliski was straight forward and easy. As a surprise we were spoilt with a lunch composed of the best local specialties and wine before we reached the bottom of the last run. (skiing in the afternoon is not possible because of the increasing avalanche risk in spring). May be if done in a more “Canadian” style one more run could have been possible before the avalanche risk became too high. We are off to Canada next year to one of Total Heliski’s operators in northern B.C.

There was nothing I did not like. The day could have been longer but I think there is nothing they can do about that… It depends what trip you choose to do but I think you need to ski well to enjoy it to full. The powder snow was awesome and the trip in general was the trip of a life time
