Europe is absolutely the most charming heliski destination, where in a week’s heli-skiing you can find yourself crossing country borders of France, Switzerland and Italy on skis. This makes for a very unique travel experience.
Such is the charm of Europe, on these trips you might unexpectedly find yourself knocking on the door of an inhabited monastery. In Europe you can heli-ski in Italy and Switzerland where there are designated landing spots of which Switzerland has 48. The high Alpine terrain offers ski descents that are long and varied -in one run you can be skiing 2000m of vertical in all types of conditions and terrain down narrow chutes, over large glaciers, steep slopes, or in the forest skiing.
Total Heliski have found the perfect European heliski holiday – where you heli-ski the European Alps as a ski safari. A ski-safari is when your bags go around by road and you ski or snowboard through untracked terrain from hotel to hotel.
